More Than a Logo on a Shirt
There are some opportunities in business that make perfect sense on paper.
Then there are those that simply feel right.
We’re delighted to announce that Banks & Lloyd is now the back-of-shirt sponsor for Altrincham FC’s Men’s, Women’s and Academy teams for the 2026/27 season.
For our owners, Ed Banks and Daria Banks, this partnership is about far more than sponsorship.
As locals, they’ve always believed that communities are built on the people, organisations and independent businesses that quietly show up year after year. The local café that knows your order. The family-run shop that’s been there for decades. The volunteers who give up their evenings. The sports clubs that bring people together.
Altrincham FC is one of those organisations.
Whether you’re a lifelong supporter, an occasional visitor to Moss Lane, or simply someone who takes pride in seeing local success stories thrive, the club plays an important role in the life of the town. Its reach extends far beyond what happens during 90 minutes on a Saturday afternoon.
At Banks & Lloyd, we’ve spent more than 30 years helping businesses connect with customers across the UK and around the world. But we’ve never forgotten that our own story is rooted right here in Cheshire. Supporting organisations that strengthen our local community remains as important as ever.
Of course, we’ll admit there was a little excitement at the thought of seeing our name on the back of an Alty shirt.
Not because we’re expecting any of the players to start talking about freight forwarding after scoring a winner, but because it represents being part of something bigger than ourselves.
We believe strong communities need strong local businesses. Equally, strong local businesses have a responsibility to support the communities that support them.
That’s why this partnership matters to us.
We’ll be cheering on the Robins throughout the season and look forward to supporting the club, its players, its staff and its supporters in the year ahead.
Come on Alty!!
